flummoxed - OneDrive kidnapped document folder

Originally, there were four drives: C, D, E and Overdrive. The D & E drives are removable. All four drives have a documents folder. Although it was never requested the Overdrive had a sync copy of its counterpart on C. After the E Drive was disconnected the documents folder on C disappeared. Actually, it may have been earlier and I hadn't noticed.
I had been using Overdrive long before my laptop was upgraded to Windows 10. I had never intended it to be used to backup my files and do not want it now. Every time I try to save a file it defaults to Overdrive. Correcting this time after time is a nuisance. I have looked in the recycle bin and the document folder it is not there. In addition to these difficulties Overdrive is complaining but there is no more room. I tried deleting some of the larger files and the result was unsatisfactory. So, they had to be restored from the recycle bin.
2 problems need to be resolved. First it seems I cannot add a new folder to This PC. Finally, I've tried unsuccessfully to follow the directions to change how Overdrive syncs with Windows. all instructions I've seen start with

    1. Right-click the OneDrive icon on the taskbar located on the lower right corner. If you don't see it, you'll need to. tap or click the up arrow to show more icons.

    There is no icon

    Hello Jalea, :)

Just for clarification, do you mean "OneDrive" or some 3rd party program called "Overdrive"?

If you mean OneDrive, then check to see if the tutorial below may help to set OneDrive to save documents to "This PC" instead.

Thanx for the start. You were correct about Onedrive <> Overdrive. The Run command in the tutorial did not work. But, I figured out how to get to settings without finding an icon. The Sync has been removed.
The remaining problem is how to create a documents folder on This PC.

If your Documents folder exists in your "C:\Users\<username>" folder, then you might see if using step 5 in Option Three in the tutorial below may be able to restore the "Documents" folder in "This PC".
