Thanks! Nothing personal, but is there a link I can click which will talk about subscriptions more?

Check the tabs at the top, second row. For me the choice to Subscribe shows when posting new or replying before clicking Submit and will not show again on a particular thread once it has been subscribed to. I do get a notice every time there is an added reply.

One last question, for this thread. I'm new to this forum, but I hope to help others down the road. How do you keep track of your post and someone you help answers. Keep handy? What was the most challenging with regards to functionality of this forum?
1 I subscribe automatically to the threads I respond to. Along the top of the webpage click on Settings

[I think this choice was made for my by default when I joined the forum]

2.1 In my email client [MS Office Outlook], I have set a rule that moves the notification emails [which contain thread titles only not the text of any threads] into a folder of their own so I can browse / search through old emails if I want to copy or refer to anything I have posted before.

2.2 I can also look at this again Click image for larger version.

ID:	185456 click on Try3 / My profile then click on Find latest posts to see text as well. This list has a maximum of ten pages so, after a while, it will only have the most recent items.

3 I sometimes also print webpages to pdf using the built-in MS PDF printer and I keep a shortcut to the page as well. I use IE not Edge so it is then easy for me to move both the PDF and the shortcut into a File explorer folder appropriate to their subject matter.

Denis, Hi! I made the change using RegEdit. I decided not to re-install Firefox. I also uninstalled Google Chrome. I don't like their ui. I do, however, have to remember to back up RegEdit. Nothing has happened, but I prefer not to meet with Murphy's Law.
Whilst it is possible to Export [back up] the whole of the Registry, it is much easier & more relevant to Export [back up] individual Registry keys before & after you work on them.

So I would have Exported the two Registry keys I asked you to check / correct both before and after any changes. I would then have saved both keys to a folder relevant to the subject matter [along with a shortcut to this thread, the MS KB article & the Slipstick article].

I would probably have added .txt to the end of the name for, at least, the before-versions exported keys so that I cannot absent-mindedly run** the .reg file because that would overwrite the Registry keys with the values that they originally had.
Once it is called SomethingOrOther-Before.reg.txt it opens in Notepad so I cannot accidentally restore its values to the Registry.
[[** To avoid being a bad influence - for a .reg file, the correct term is merge not run.]]

To add, and so you will know, in File Explorer or wherever the .reg file is stored you can right-click it and use Edit, BUT only if you know what needs changing, one misstep when merged will allow reinstalling Windows. [Knowledge is power]

I recently fixed the hyperlinks issue for Outlook 2010 running on Win10 by re-installing IE11.

I recently removed IE11 because I don't use it or Edge. That's what started the issue of hyperlinks not working. I re-installed it through the "Manage Optional Features" in settings. FYI: I also tried the regedit changes on html, htm, ect.. to no avail.
