You could also try a program called DesktopOK which will basically save your icons then, if they happen to get out of place, click on the restore button from within the program & they will be back to where they were. Get it from -

DesktopOK 5.12 Save and restore the desktop icon positions.

Are you still experiencing errors that are recorded in Reliability History?

Is Hibernation on or off on your device?

You can force it to be on by entering command (Command prompt(admin)

    powercfg -h on

Looks like your Reliability History hasn't changed at all.

What adobe product are you using? Have you tried to update it manually, that or repair it (under Help menu).

What happened to your system around 1:40 pm (afternoon). Did you have a BSOD? You are still recording "Windows did not shut down properly" (If we reference back to last screen shot the hours are off by three, 4:44PM, so something is happening in the afternoon.)

To ensure we are not dealing with a BSOD that is automatically restarting your machine.

Windows key + R, type sysdm.cpl, enter, click on Advance tab, click on Settings in Start up and recovery box, remove check mark from line "Automatically Restart".

Now if you have a BSOD you will have to hold power button down until it shuts off.

So can I ask why you are letting battery die. I assume you are out and can't get to power.

Your device should be set up such that when your battery gets critical sleep / hibernation kicks in a shuts it down peacefully.

Okay but you should set up advance power options to hibernate your device. (and hibernation needs to be on.)
