Thank you for your information: on your shutdown options, when it says update & restart, please do that.
As Wynona mentioned "There has been an update to 16299.371". I got that on my 2 HP computers just a few hours ago w/o any problems.
I also have a Dell computer which essentially did the ones that show in your updates status and I did them also by selecting update & restart. I expect the 16299.371 will be forthcoming any day now, if not maybe next week.
In your list of installed updates, do you have any failures?

    Might this possibly be related?

I have the same update waiting to be installed. I've set the computer to notify me first and not install automatically.
So, that update is not yet installed.

Windows Updates seem to be in order. Please use HP Support Assistant again to see if it still reports Windows Update issues.

I just noticed that 16299.309 was my version just before 16299.371 was installed.
--- It appears to me that means 16299.334 was skipped.
    Windows 10 release information

Maybe Microsoft is already addressing the KB4054517 issue?
