Recently attempting to open Command prompt, ordinary or as administrator, it flashes for perhaps 2 seconds and then disappears. I tried the following commands
sfc /scannow
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
But none of these seem to work, I'm wondering if there are any fixes for this issue
Open administrative powershell and type or copy and paste:
1) sfc /scannow
2) dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
3) dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
4) chkdsk /scan
5) When these have completed > right click on the top bar or title bar of the administrative command prompt box > left click on edit then select all > right click on the top bar again > left click on edit then copy > paste into the thread

Using Powershell as admin write command : Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth and click on Enter
If this doesn't help you can try another method:
From Run, type winver and press enter
If you on version 1709, try this: Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade Windows 10 Tutorials
If you on version prior to version 1709, donwload the upgrade assistant: Download Windows 10

When you open administrative command prompt now how does it respond?
What is/are the methods that you are using to open administrative command prompt?
I used MediaCreationTool update and nothing

Nothing no work. Back-up old restored. Problem gone!
