RS4 - Redstone 4 is the version of Windows 10 MS is getting ready to release this Month.
RS5 - Redstone 5 is the version they are working on and plan to release in October.

During development MS uses different stages (Rings) for testing. As one Ring is complete they move that Build to the next ring for additional testing and start testing the next Build with improvements. This process goes on until they decide a Build is good enough to let the public get a shot at it. That is where the public can sign up to the Insider program. The Insider Fast Ring gets the 1st shot at the Builds which can have numerous bugs. The Fast Ring will get many new Builds as testing continues. When MS decides a Build is ready for release they give it to the Slow Ring and as a final test it moves to the Release Preview Ring. This is where RS4 is now.

About this point they are ready to give the Fast Ring a look at the next version that they are working on and called it Skip Ahead. This is where RS5 is now.

Is there any way of telling if the MCT is updated to create an image for the Spring Creators Update yet?
Then of course if its ready later to create the April update which will probably be released by May..

Right-click - Properties - Details

Check File version or Product version. if its 10.0.16299.15 its the old one.
