Downloaded from Microsoft. Got real tired of chasing vague error messages. Re-image and the problems are gone.

Update: Yesterday, I successfully installed the KB4093112 cumulative maintenance pack. Apparently, there were some problems as reported on the forums. Glad I finally got it installed after 3 failed attempts. Microsoft really should have better testing procedures and eliminate problems with these releases.

Build 17133.1 and 17133.73 is NOT the final Spring Creators Update. And yes MS is testing before release to the public and they found a BIG BUG.

Hee Hee. Back when I worked for that large computer company with the stripped logo, we used to equate MS's production releases with our Beta levels. I'm thinking little has changed over the years

So, he's still on 1709 but fully up to date.

My bad! I skimmed through the text and assumed we're talking about Spring Creators Update, which is what the topic says...

Yes on Tuesday they came out with the KB4093221 instead of SCU so the thread kind of veered off except for some that had used an esd file converted to ISO and actually did get 1803.

Another assumption I made was that he actually did get SCU installed somehow since one post back he was trying just that. :)

I did not bother checking the KB number either since there are a ton of those which I would never memorize and there were no convenient link in the post for more information available.
