True. Hopefully in a thread called "Is this the RTM?" which could keep running for ever and I could ignore.
The discussion about insider builds should be in the "Windows Insider" section as well - not "News". If "Windows Insider" isn't for discussing insider builds then what is it for?
If all discussion is in the "News" section you may as well not bother with subforums at all.

I don't understand why there is even a "Windows Insider" section on this forum if it is ignored and everyone posts Insider stuff in "News" or (even worse) "General Support"
May as well do one or the other - put Insider stuff in Insider or drop the Insider forum. A new insider build isn't news - it is a new Insider build. News is something not already announced.
I don't see why as it's a general question about if the spring update is available yet and it shouldn't be in the insider section either as the question wasn't asked about an insider build.

An insider build release is an event that should appear in the News section. Issues relating to a particular build, belong in the Insider Forum
What then needs to happen is that comments, issue reports , and other Insider matters that relate to the Build should be discussed in the Insider forum in their own thread or threads. What this would do is allow other users to find help and assistance for subjects related to a particular build without having to wade through page after page of posts in the News Thread announcing the release.
Now let's be honest, we all do it , this post does not really belong here but it's in a popular thread and will be seen by more people than if it was placed in it's own thread , we just need to think a little more before posting in news or other active threads - is an answer we give better of as a reply to an existing topic or is it a new topic. A problem with a particular part of an Insider Build should be posted in the Insider forum where it can be specifically indexed and thus easily found Next week or Next Month or next year - and not lost
Everyone involved with the insider builds is experienced enough to insert links to other related threads or posts, if not ask.
One thing to add ...
If you are working a thread, and find that the discussion is going off track, you can report the first post where it occurs and we will extract the information into its own thread, you can suggest a tile and forum if you wish. (this is not a Tell a tale on another member activity, its a suggestion to make things better for all, so only reporting your own pots is preferable)
Yeah - I know. I really do not understand why US is out of step with rest of world which uses DD/MM/YY. I often put yymmdd (reverse order) at end of a file in multiple versions, then if you sort in file name order - files are sorted by date order in name. This just not work with US convention
For the record, if you want ISO (credit goes to @Abbodi1406)
Create a folder called Win10 in C drive.
Copy both MediaCreationTool.exe and products.cab to that folder.
Now open CMD as administrator and run
pushd C:\Win10
And press enter.
Now run
MediaCreationTool.exe /Selfhost
And press enter. Then get your ISO. It will be the Spring Creators Update (build 17133.1).
Yes and The SCU is way more stable than XP. To say that it isn't would be uncivilized.
Hehheh, we will see how stable it is once I get it installed on real hardware. The insider builds were a total BSOD nightmare disaster for a very long time for me, even while running in Hyper-V. Right now it runs smooth however.
But I will wait for the official MS announcement/release before installing anything.

Rumor: Next Windows 10 feature update to be called “Windows 10 April update” ...
Hi All
Preparing system for the upcoming Spring Creators, right now removed with Revo uninstaller games hardly used, backed up personal files, and such, debating on leaving Avast in or using Defender on my Intel I7 Desktop.

Hear me out on this.
I recently bit the bullet an installed the Fall Update (v1709) by doing so I had all sorts of event viewer errors (that I had pretty much straightened out with v1703) trying for several days to resolve these issues (besides the...
