PC won't restart, the lights and the PC itself stay on.

    Hi,

I have a question, hope someone can help me out here

I'm having this problem for quite awhile now. I tried lots of solutions on google.. but nothing seems to be working.

Basically when i press restart it tells me it's restarting, monitors turn off cause no signal. But the lights and the pc itself stay on and won't turn off and on again.

In bios it doesn't seem to restart from there either except if i press "back to default settings" and then press reboot. That's the only way i can reboot from the bios. But i never really change anything in the bios so, "back to default settings" doesn't really affect anything. It's really weird?

It's kinda annoying since i can't install any updates etc It destroys my pc

I don't have a jumper, but i read you can either remove the battery for 10 sec and then put it back in.
Or use a screwdriver to bridge the JBAT1 ?

Is this a good thing or should i buy a jumper first?

What Power plan do you use?
You can try High performance, and disable fast startup.

High performance and fast startup is off :O No luck
Though i wonder everytime i press restart it says nvscv is preventing restart? Anything to do with it? I mean I can shutdown but not restart.. It's weird. I kinda have a feeling my motherboard might be broken or something.

Sadly I noticed no good 1150 motherboard are being sold anymore.. So i'll have to change most of the rig..

Oh wait i forgot to update my newer rig
    It's
    Intel Core I7-4790K
    16 GB RAM
    Geforce GTX 1070
    Z87-G45-GAMING motherboard

I have some recommended drivers installed? Killer network suite
But what i know though, whenever i reinstall my windows. It doesn't restart at the start either. So i kinda doubt it's because of drivers? :O
