    What if you move the batch file to C:\temp?
    I dont have that option for some reason. And putting it in temp didnt help

    What version of Windows do you have? Controlled Folder Access was introduced in version 1709, the Fall Creators Update.

    First of all create and execute below batch script to make sure Path environment variable is not corrupted if the batch script execute then there is a problem with your batch script and for us to help you resolve this issue we need to see your batch script codes.

    Use Winkey+R and run Winver, it will tell you your version and build number.
    The latest version is 1709, os build 16299.334.
