    Right click not working

Hi Guys, I guess we need some help here. My girlfriend bought an ASUS with a Windows 10. She copied some photos and when she wants to do a right click, the whole system collapses. The screen goes blank, then it comes back after a second and everything is as if nothing has happened.... Any ideas?

Hi, it sounds as if explorer is crashing (just one process) because of a bad shell extension (something added to the right click menu).

Download and install a couple of free programs- shellexview and shellmenuview. (Easy to find).
Run shellexview - you can use it to disable context menu entries selectively (no need to log off etc) and then try rt click.

When you have disabled the rogue entry (there could be more than one) then enable the others again and check again.

Make sure all Microsoft context menu entries are hidden- do not disable them.

If you don't find the right one with shellexview, you may find more are shown with shellmenuview.

Great- have a look at Nirsoft's site- there are some useful small programs there.
