Nope, it's not been fixed at all.

Notebookcheck.net says they are both 1100-1200 days old.
I bought my laptop in October 2015.
Hi, can you check if the latest nVIDIA drivers 391.35 solved the issue?

It looks like, but I'm not sure because I have an SSD. It opens fast now, may be it's me, but I seem to find it a little slower than before (when it worked normally).

The delay has been reduced after the previous driver (or Experience) update, although it is not as quick as my mouse keybinding for file explorer.

Yeah, that's what I think, the delay has been reduced. Since in my main notebook I'm using an SSD, this delay improvement meant that it opens very quickly, though I had the sensation that it was not as fast as an SSD is supposed to performance (instantly).

So yeah, there is still some work for nVIDIA to do in order to get things the way they were.
