    Cannot Create New Folders

    Howdy all,

So this problem popped up seemingly right after I switched over to Windows 10. As the title says, I cannot create new folders.

Clicking on the New Folder button results in a New Shortcut dialog box popping up. What's even weirder is that the context menu has no New Folder option, just two New Shortcut options. Cntrl+Shift+N also creates a new shortcut.

    See here for details.

My guess is that something is up with the registry, and that everything "New Folder" points, incorrectly, to "New Shortcut". I have no idea how to fix this, however, so any help is greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

Also, for bonus points, I have to constantly ask for administrator privileges on my secondary hard drive, even though all users have full control over it and I am the only user on the computer. What might be causing this?

    Hello StirrednotShake, :)

You might see if downloading and merging the .reg files for New Folder and Shortcut may be able to fix this for you.
