Series of 4 to 10 Beeps Every 5 minutes in Computer Box

A series of 4 to 10 beeps is occurring about 5 minutes apart in my computer box. Ran a diagnostic and according to the results everything checks fine. Any idea what's causing this? TIA

Does your Dell show a prompt on the black screen about booting choices? Usually there will be a memory test, suggest you run it. If not possible use memtest86+, downloadable and run within Windows.

Ran the HP diagnostics and everything passed. What could be doing this? Thanks for your response. Anyone else have any ideas? Also ran a virus scan but nothing found. TIA

Restart computer and press F12, run Diagnostics.

If it tests fine, open case and pinpoint where the sound is coming from. If it is coming from the HDD, it may be failing.

sounds like a video card is faulty..if you get 4 beeps on boot up then it's the video card that is the problem.

You can test your Ram with Windows 10

In RUN (Win Key + R) type mdsched.exe press Enter and you will see >

Cooling fans are clean but the cpu ribs (right below the fan) had accumulated some lint cause I have ignored it during cleaning. All is good now. Thanks for all of those who responded.
