    I have ran the trouobleshooting tool and it runs for hours, not getting anything done
    I deleted the windows from the SoftwareDistribution folder the data files and the download files
    I have stopped and restarted the windows modules installer,
    did a scannow... no problems
    no updates are able to get finished installing before it errors our

    Is this also the case when you download the update directly from Microsoft?


    Download KB4074588 MSU for Windows 10 v1709 64-bit (x64) - 686.6 MB

    error update


    Thank you, this is what I am doing right now from Microsoft website, it's almost finished , well it just failed...trying to use the stand alone installer....

    ended up resetting, my laptop, and now it is just fine...
