Windows 10 Just Wiped A Ton of Data!

Yesterday, I was working on a video file off one of my drives. It was looking wonky so I rebooted Windows and about half of the data on that drive vanished. This is essential data for work that is irreplaceable. I've gone through a ton of data recovery programs and have had absolutely no luck, either they have not found any data or they have only come up with individual files, thousands and thousands of them, with no way to recover them in place. There are a ton of files on that drive that I do not want back and are probably unrecoverable anyhow. Are there any programs out there that will recover files by date or by folder or anything like that? I have to have this thing fixed by Monday.

Try using Piriform Recuva (free).

It hasn't been. Not one byte has been written to that drive. And I ran a complete disk scan, there is nothing wrong with the physical disk, not a single error anywhere. This is software, not hardware.

I did. It only wants to give back raw, unfiltered, unsorted data. I have also tried IOBit Undelete, which found no files to recover at all. I've also tried Pandora, which again, wants to recover every single thing that's ever been on the drive. I've also tried EASEUS Data Recovery, which finds all of the files, then wants to charge me $75 to recover them. I mean, I'll do it if I have to but I have no way of knowing if it will work. I'm about to try DMDE, which who knows if that will work. Was just looking for suggestions.

EASEUS Data Recovery is the best. I use it for data recovery. It even works on hard drives that are clicking. It's worth the purchase if nothing else works.

Edit: when using testdisk, be careful and select another drive for output!
Edit2: In Testdisk, Photorec is included, which could be more than enough for you, since it's made specifically for picture and video files

I'm running DMDE right now, but Testdisk was the next on my list to try. It isn't just picture and video files that went missing, those are just the most essential that I recover. Thanks.

How does it recover? Will it recover specific folders or will it attempt to recover everything regardless of how old? Because I have other programs that will do that and that's a complete disaster if I have to go that route.

It recovers everything on the drive.
