    Windows 10 start menu and settings will not open.

    Everything was working perfectly until all these issues came up at the same time. Anyone know anything that would resolve this problems?Already tried restarting the computer, SFC /scannow on PowerShell, and restarting explorer.exe. They sometimes provide temporary fixes but the problem always returns.

    Please run winver and let us know what version you are running.
    If you have data you want to keep, back it up now.
    Is there a restore point available for when the system was running perfectly?
    --- And how long ago was it working perfectly?

    This article has a Run Start Menu Troubleshooter in fix 2 of 6.

    If you are using third part antivirus and firewall programs and install them to see issue resolves if follow below instruction.

    If you want you can preinstalled apps back, you can get them back with a single line of PowerShell code. Open a PowerShell window as a Administrator. Copy and paste the following line into the PowerShell window and press Enter:

    Code:
    Get-AppxPackage –AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml”}

    This tells Windows to install those default apps again. Give it some time and allow it to finish, even if nothing appears to happen at first. Even if you see an error message, restart and examine your Start menu — you may just have all those default apps back again, anyway.
