    Hello,
My windows 10 pro is an old version, same is my pc and motherboard.
There were several attempt to upgrade the system (posted the upgrade problems here on this forum time ago), at certain points at one of the restarts, computer froze, even for over the night.
Finaly got a message that system was restored to previous version with an error number.
Searching what this error means, found it is because of a bad driver. Since motherboard is old, there are not any update drivers, checked it on the manufacturer's site and even with some "doctor" programs - nothing found.
So until a new pc, I work with what I have, only keep to update windows defender.

You can create a another free partition and clean install latest version of Windows 10 on this partition and install the device drivers to see issue resolves. I will help you delete and merge the unallocated space with any partition you want.

Motim, I did have system with the same processor (assuming E7200 and motherboard with P35 chipset) till last Summer, and it was perfectly capable of running Windows version 1703. Also ATI 3450 is old and basic, but working with drivers in latest Windows 10.

I would try to check Startup programs for beginning and then run Rkill and ADWcleaner to check if any processes were left by your assistance.
Next is System refresh with in-place upgrade, or if you have some kind of backup, clean install.

Let us know, if you want help doing this.

Also, FreeBooter advice is worth trying.

    Hello,
Thanks for all the answers and your concern about.
The main problem I do not have the installation disk. The system was installed by a computer's tech, and it turned out he wasn't honest.
So I decided to by a new pc, with the installation disk, licence and registration.
And after that, you will show me how to update my system's spec on this forum.
    Thanks again

    Hello,
Thanks, but it was done some time ago at least 5 times and it did not work. Spent several evenings only on this.
I am tired to do it again. Waiting to buy a new one.
    Thanks
