Adding Keyboard Text to Screen Captures

I need to "Screen Capture" a portion or more of my Monitor and then "ADD" text onto the image, using my Keyboard.

Currently, if you use the Snipping Tool, the only way to add notes is to DRAW.

Is there an Ap or a piece of Software that allows me to QUICKLY capture a portion of my screen and QUICKLY add a few notes "on top of" the captured image .... Then, QUICKLY save it all as one file. The content can be saved as a JPG (preferred.)

I can't stress enough how this has to be "QUICK". I may review 25 web pages in just a few minutes and I need to add a few notes/ a phone number/ a date/ etc onto the file... Then 'save it to my computer' and QUICKLY move to the next web page.

Using Microsoft Office or other large tools is not the answer.

    Thanks!

I thought this would be simple to find.. but no luck

    - however it doesn't seem to offer a way of changing the font.

    So you could try pickpick

Note- this URL does something silly when I add it, so delete spaces.

Thank you .... I will give it a try ....... but so far.... I am not impressed with the "download" options.... One site wants me to agree to this or that and the other says my Flash needs updating... But I will keep looking for a safe way to download.

    thanks

I found DuckCapture....download via CNET, which I trust, but the latest version is 2.7 / 2011 and does not include Windows 10 in its list of operating systems... There are a lot of LINKS to "DuckLink" - Duckcapture, but that is where I was getting the erroneous download suggestions.... So I guess this question is still outstanding.............

No. I use Duckcapture regularly. It's the only one I've found good for scrolling capture (last I looked!). Just not updated.

Picpick works- did you see the alternative? That certainly offers good text options - but no good on scrolling capture. Just tried it.

PicPick is going to work! Will take a bit of learning.... but it has tons of additional options that may work for me in the Future. Right now, all I want to do is Capture a Website page with the "contact us" info showing and make a note regarding my "sales call to them" and save the image to my computer.... Simple... easy .... and I think your suggestion of PicPick is going to work out fine.

    Thanks for the help dalchina
