Window 10 boot time is significantly slower than Win 8.1?

    Hello Everyone!
So the computer that I am using is Dell Inspiron 13 2 in 1, and the following are my details

    Processor
    5th Generation Intel® Core™ i7-5500U Processor (4M Cache, up to 3.00 GHz)
    OS
    Win 10 64bit
    Memory
    8GB Single Channel DDR3L 1600MHz (8GBx1)
    Hard Drive
    500GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
    Graphics Card
    Intel® HD Graphics 5500

This computer is only a week old. When I boot up the computer with win 8.1, it takes around 8 seconds. However, after the win 10 upgrade, it takes 20 to 25 sec. Is there a way I can fix this? Thanks

    I'm having the same issue.

Just upgraded to W10 and boot times tripled or quadrupled at best.

    Following thread for solutions.

I get about the same boot time as I did with Windows 7, but I never kept track.

I usually boot in less than a minute.
