Multiple mysterious problems, trying to find cause

    @AndreTen, I'm just concerned that if I've had these problems after a system reset once already, why would it not happen again?

    System reset makes Windows almost like new. Clean install does make them new. Also wiping partition is important. There could be some kind of malware present, and after you check what zbook said, you'll have to run at least Malwarebytes and others scans

    Oh, alright I was not aware of that. Perhaps it is the best option considering I have nothing of value on this PC yet...

    @zbook I performed a clean boot but I'm not sure how to analyze the boot. Is there a utility installed that can do this for me?

    For clean boot:
    How are the boots? Are they faster, slower, or the same?
    How are shutdowns? Are they faster, slower, or the same?
    How are hangs, freezing? Are they more frequent, less, frequent, or the same?
    How is audio and video performance? Better, worse, same?

    It was only slightly faster. I think I'm going to perform a clean install as suggested above. I really appreciate everyone's help and I will update the thread if everything starts working fine. :)
