Please run this log collector and post a zip into the thread for troubleshooting:
log collector v2-beta06.zip
Will the log collector offer anything of value? It's not giving me bsod. Just freezes up and requires a power cycle.
The log collector collects files that have already been generated that can display problems with the computer.
Gotcha. I will run and post it tonight when I get home. Thanks
If your using the latest video driver try older driver versions. I had a similar problem on a Acer Aspire laptop. Through trial and error I found out it was the updated video driver.
I am running I believe 388.xxx. It's not the newest but dated around Christmas. I thought the same thing. I can't help but wonder if it's the m.2 ssd. My 2nd hd should be here today. It's a sata ssd. May install op on that just to eliminate it.
The logs were 2 days and started on 1/13/2018.
There were approximately 35 reboots without clean shutdown.
Windows failed fast startup.
There were no active BSOD.
The windows error reporting displayed bugcheck BE
Bugcheck BE is Attempted write to read only memory.
For all tests and steps please post pictures into the thread.
If there are problems posting pictures please use one drive or drop box share links.
