Yes they are. Hmm. Are you sure you have everything matched for the MoBo? Everything seated ok?

Install in UEFI BIOS mode? Everything set in there ok?

Try opening Settings app > Update & security > Troubleshoot > Hardware and devices perhaps? Power setting? Try whatever you think.

Trouble is nothing is giving you an event besides that shutdown one, which is common BTW.

When I get finished installing windows it asked me to download the updates. Could that be an issue? It has never went all the way through without messing up. Windows 10 update is a pos unless I am missing something. Maybe it is corrupting something

How does it run if you boot to Safe Mode?

Start Menu, Power Icon, hold down the shift key and click Restart.

New wrinkle. I installed pubg to see how it would do with a game. It runs and starts the game fine, plays the whole round and when I go to exit to lobby it hangs every time.

Thanks for the reply Ztruker. I have not run it much in safe mode. I will give that a shot as well.

I have been browsing the net and just messing around like normal for 35 minutes in safe mode. Not a single freeze. Guess I can rule out hardware then. Should I just reinstall windows till I get a clean install and update? Im just not sure the best approach with win10

    Hey Furall,
I'd give clean boot a try to see if you might can narrow down what might be causing the freezing - Perform a Clean Boot in Windows 10 to Troubleshoot Software Conflicts Performance Maintenance Tutorials

Try turning off Fast Startup - Turn On or Off Fast Startup in Windows 10 Performance Maintenance Tutorials

If you haven't already, I'd also look at updating the Nvidia Driver.
