    Reboot and Select Proper Boot Device HELP


    Hello guys! And Happy New Year! I have a very strange problem!

    I have left my pc for a lot hour open and when i go back to my room to finished my job i see that message to my screen:

    - Reboot and Select Proper Boot Device -

    I press any key but continue saw me this message! I google it i go to BIOS but i dont see my Boot disk! Ok lets take the story from the begin!

    A lot months now i have buy an SSD this: Patriot Spark 128GB and i have an HDD for my backups! To the SSD i run the Windows! When i went to BIOS i see only my HDD and not the SSD disk = The boot disk! I turn off my pc and the PSU and i disable the cables from SSD! I put it again and open the BIOS! Now to the Boot options show me and 1 more option ( Windows Boot Manager)! I select that option to Boot my PC and YES my pc open fine now! What is that guys ? I need a help because i am so afraid! My SSD gonna dead ? What ?

    It could just be a loose cable as reseating fixed it. Its worth going to ssdmakers site and see if they have adisk test software specific to your drive

    Make sure you remove and re-seat ALL cables from the MOBO to the SSD you might try this a few times too. Then remove CMOS battery remove AC power and press power button for a few minutes to remove all residual capacitance from the MOBO. replace CMOS,
    reconnect power cable to AC and try to start again...what happens? Follow up for us please. Thanks.
