Let's see if this method could help:
Are you using a Desktop computer? If so, is the graphics card separate from the motherboard? If so, I would recommend unplugging the computer from power first. Then unplug the graphics card from the motherboard, and dusting off where it plugs into the motherboard, and dust off the slot on the motherboard that the graphics card goes into. If you're not sure how to do this, look up tutorials on YouTube on how to do this.
