Yes, I remember games like Microprose Pacific Air Wars. If I remember correctly, back to 1994, had to install it with about a dozen diskettes, then in DOS mode, had to disable CD Rom to free up memory for the game to run, had to LH (load high) various resources. Loved the game at the time. Found this video. Look at the graphic quality
I'll take 60GB games, Nvidia turf effects and fire, HTFS shadows and "expensive" GPU's to run those amazing graphic features over the old days. But the old days were still fun.
