GTA V/Online issues with every post-CU Insider build

I've been having this issue in every Insider build post-Creators Update and I was hoping you guys could help me figure it out. In GTA, when I go into somewhere that requires a transition scene, like going into my apartment, bunker or yacht, GTA will occasionally hang. Even if I'm in the Steam overlay and chatting, everything will just hang. I can get back in game and playing by hitting ctrl+alt+delete, clicking cancel and maximizing the game from the taskbar. It doesn't happen every single time I go into those places, but just randomly and often enough to be very annoying.

Here's what popped up in Event Viewer when I had it happen to me a few minutes ago, as I was testing GTA on today's Insider build (16241):

Blackrose; you have both insider and non insider builds on your system, right? Is that only happening on the insider build? I don't run insider builds but fired GTAV up just for a minute with no issues.

As far as interpreting the "friendly view", ya well that's not friendly to me.

Yeah, it only occurs on Insider builds post-15063. Works fine on Creators Update and earlier. I'm just hoping to figure out the root cause as it doesn't seem to be a common issue (at least according to the number of upvotes on Feedback Hub) and I'd like to be able to submit helpful feedback to the Hub so that whatever is causing it can be fixed before the Fall CU rolls out.

Well thank you for that. Please make sure you play ALL the games I like on the insider build so I will have no issues with the Fall CU.

Still thinking of taking programming courses as a hobby. Hey Brink, essenbe or anybody who knows, what kind of courses would you have to take to interpret these "friendly" event viewer messages????

You know what...I bet that's exactly what it is. I have V-Sync enabled for GTA V through the Nvidia Control Panel, but I still see my framerate shoot up to 280+ during those transition scenes. I'm gonna try to frame limit GTA V via Nvidia Profile Inspector and see if that fixes the issue. I'll report back this evening after dinner.

    Thanks Dude.

@specialkone, @Dude knows how to do BSODs. He just doesn't want anyone to know that.
