    Origin (or lack of)

My son introduced me to Mass Effect, which I was playing via Origin. Then the password would not work, so my son changed it. I got back in and got as far as the financial District in the Citadel, then the password stopped working. I had tried offline several times it did not work.

So I spent an half hour trying to sign into origin under my own name, and it refused me for a long time, so changed my log in and got in. Tried to download a freebie (Syberian 2) to see what it was like and lo and behold, a damn direct x error (this is the millionth time via origin). So I binned that and eventually found somewhere to delete my account , even THAT did not work, so I removed everything I could find in my pc on 'origin' and decided to forget Origin. A waste of virtual space.

Now my question: WHERE can I get a runable copy of Mass Effect (not any of the latest, the original) to run on my pc. Before I lose what little of my sanity I have left.

I have not had issues with Origin maybe you should contact EA support. They have always been helpful to me.

If you dont want to try that, try it on Steam

    Mass Effect on Steam

Origin responds faster than Valve. I've had this similar problem and they've just reset it to the last password that I used.

I've had better experience with EA Support than Valve. Valve basically copy and paste the solution then ignore the user.

The last time I had an issue with my log in credentials....I ended up calling customer service and physically talking with an service agent. Then with in 5 minutes we had it all figured out. Seems I was misspelling my password.
