I have some issues with steam

I have some issues with steam.

    • Steam is slow to load with windows. It takes longer for steam to load than all my other programs.
    • Sometimes steam asks me to sign in manually. I want steam to sign me in automatically.
    • Steam pops up on my desktop after signing into windows, instead of starting minimized to the tray.
    • Steam seems to queue all the updates for my games. I want steam to install them automatically.
    • Sometimes steam gets slow and unresponsive, and occasionally steam crashes with a message saying there was an error processing the request.

I have been asking steam support for help, but they didnt solve any of the problems.

If you exit Steam and decide to go back in, it'll take a few seconds to load. However once loaded, opening it is fairly instant. At least on my machine. And I've got my game directory on a HDD drive.

    Anyone got a solution?

I have tried reinstalling steam many times.

I have it installed to an SSD and set to run with Windows and it takes about that long for me as well.

It takes me like 30 seconds before I can log in. At least for me.

It used to take that long but a recent windows update seems to have fixed that issue, or maybe it was a steam update. Either way, steam doesn't take forever to load like it used to.
