Yes, i have tried all of it. I'm not using a vpn. Also, the load time is pretty long compared to all my other programs.

It's an old thread, but i think this is a problem with steam, as blizzard's application doesn't seem to have any of these problems.

If you feel like Steam has problems you best bet is to contact Steam after you have done all the suggested fixes in their database, when I had a massive error with steam I contacted Steam about it & they asked me to send them the startup log files & within a few weeks all was fixed.

With the Steam at startup would be better to start it manually after Windows has finished loading other important files upon startup - because game launchers slow everything down when starting for a few seconds which becomes longer if done at startup, as all my game launchers are switched off until needed as they would use resources in the background too much while other game launchers are running & in some cases can cause conflict.

It doesn't seem like that. Blizzard's application starts within a few seconds.

Well Steam connects to it's server & auto starts to download updates which can cause lag at windows startup, blizzard is a different launcher & you can not really compare the 2, Rockstar Launcher takes a few seconds longer than Origin for me but I am used to it.

On my old Laptop with a standard HDD Steam starts in 7 secs. That is assuming no client updates which are very frequent in that case a lot longer, 30 secs+.
It does not start with Windows either.

From the System Tray to Library ~ 1 sec. Only 2 items there.

Settings are adjusted to get that. I always exit from the System Tray icon when finished.

Applies to all the other game clients as well.

Your start up time is so dependent on your settings and what you have on there, comparisons are well nigh impossible. Issues are probably non existent.
