    Microsoft daily challenge games

As of today, when I try to do the daily challenges of Majong and the Solitaire collection I get as far as clicking on the actual puzzle but when I click on it I get a white screen. No game on either. I can however, go an individual game (not within the challenge) with no problem. Just not the daily challenges. I've done a system restore going back 4 days (no problems yesterday or anytime before) and it didn't do any good. I've also uninstalled Majong and re-installed it to no avail. I checked for java updates and also Flash Player updates. They are up to date. Windows is also up to date. Does anyone have any ideas.

I am experiencing the white screen too. I am not premium member for the Solitaire collection, so I am wondering if the ads are having a problem, hence the white screen. I also restarted my PC and still got the white screen.

Thanks hTcone for the hint in your reply. Evidently Java was the culprit. I also noticed that while doing anything else, my computer slowed down considerably. Checking the task manager had java in about 40 places eating up 99% of the memory. I had to reboot and go to the control panel, programs and features and remove java before it ate all the memory again. Now when going to the games, it passes the commercial and goes to the game. Java evidently didn't like the commercials. Thanks again.

On an update to what I previously wrote, I was able to play the games but I was not able to use a couple of programs. When removing Java, I used the control panel to remove. It wasn't enough. I had to go to the drive, program files and remove all because some was left. I then re-installed Java and was able to use all my programs. Evidently my Java was corrupt. Removing and re-installing fixed the problem.

Glad you got it sorted and I was able to point you in right direction.
I don't like Java and if I can avoid it I do
