Xbox one streaming not working
-
One thing I would do, is go into the Network settings on the XBOX and clear the Alternate MAC address. Settings > Network > Advanced Settings > Alternate MAC Address > Clear > And then reboot console when prompted.
Something else I've been advised to do by tech support is to clear the persistent storage. Settings > Disk and Blu-ray > Persistent Storage > Clear it 3 times > Reboot . It likely won't help with your problem, but if you ever have game glitches this helps.

This is my network layout. As you can see I changed my Xbox name to Hox and it says there too

OK network looks OK, router doing DHCP etc. I don't think that's the issue.

Alright. Hmm that strange. Okay anyway I'm heading off soon and let you know tomorrow about the Mac address solution. Thanks

I'll be leaving for my morning walk shortly. Be back in an hour or so. Post even if I'm off line, I'll get an e-mail notification anyway and have a look latter on when I'm back. I'm on and off the forum several times a day.

Okay. Tried clearing the Mac address still not working

Well, I'm running out of ideas? You could do a reset and set it up from scratch? Did you go through the trouble shooting steps in that link I posted earlier? You could also try the XBOX forum, https://forums.xbox.com/en-US/home
Or, Xbox.com

If you do a forum search for "XBOX" you'll find a few tutorials Brink did up for the XBOX, https://www.tenforums.com/gtsearch.p...a.x=13&sa.y=13 That will get you stuff like this, Xbox One Game Streaming - Enable or Disable Might be outdated though, and we already went over it anyway. Go to the second or third page of the search and you'll find some threads others have started. Might be outdated, but could help if you have any other issues. I've had a few issues with mine, mostly game issues though, not problems with the OS.
