My laptops a Dell XPS L702X. I always have my laptop plugged in charging so battery life isn't an issue. But I've had the laptop 5 years without changing any of the graphics settings. I don't have a external monitor so that's not an option at the moment.

I was hoping someone that knows about that model would see the thread but no luck. This really bites on the part of the M$ Store. If the game was downloaded In all likelihood you could change the settings and play it. AFAIK you can't easily change the display to use the discrete card only. Googled but never found the pic for the GPU settings in BIOS. Maybe try taking a pic of the settings and upload.

If You had a extra HDD you could clone your OS and then try setting Windows Not to install drivers and remove the Intel drivers and see what would happen ? Don't want to screw anything up. Updating to something like a Intel Core i7-3610QM is really expensive as I see they sell for $165.00 US at Starmicro. Ouch

The store doesn't even allow me to buy the games, the option is greyed out due to the DX11 requirement not being met. I don't have a HDD but I'd rather not make large changes anyway. I don't have a clue at this point I'll just leave it.

    Cheers guys anyway!

From this thread on the Dell forums it seems your system uses hybrid video which means you wouldn't be able to disable integrated graphics from bios or device manager.

If you have changed manage 3D settings in control panel to use the Nvidia GPU as I mentioned and as this Dell thread also suggests, and if you have also tried the latest Nvidia drivers, and it still doesn't work, don't see much you can do other than try an external display. You should try to get an answer from Microsoft or Telltale to see if any settings will work with these games when using hybrid video.

    That's all I got.

Ak ok fair enough. Yupp I've tried everything, but no worry. I will be getting a new laptop in the next 1-2 years anyway so hopefully this DX11 malarkey won't be an issue then. Thanks for the help everyone!

No wonder. Don't know why it said I have DX12 then.
