I get a similar experience but my Spider Solitaire folder is 916 Kb bigger than yours....still not enough to launch. Some of the threads I've seen say that MS is going to include the Windows 7 games with Win 10 - maybe in future updates. I dunno. I haven't yet seen any compelling reason why I should have "upgraded" except for the fun of the experience.

After disabling, installation proceeds but, for example, C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\SpiderSolitaire\en-US is empty!

radiojer, did you download the 32-bit version or the 64-bit version. Your System Specs don't reveal which version of Windows but the 64-bit can run 32-bit programs [but not the other way around], just have to look in C:\Program Files (x86) for the presence of the 32-bit programs.

Wow, I've never seen that before. Thanks. I'll give it a shot again tomorrow.

Thank you, I originally did this and it was working fine for the last few weeks. This week, Windows 10 did some updates, (that I hadn't okay'd) and when I logged in the spider game was now missing. I tried reinstalling and repairing, with no luck. I also tried backing out of the updates, which did nothing. Next I plan to uninstall and reinstall.... Is this a know issue? And is there anything else I should try?

update, I tried the uninstall/reinstall no luck. BTW, 64 bit version. It seems to install correctly but the exe file will not run.

I doubt it, you'd have to run the installer(s)

They are available from a kind fellow forumeer.
(I'll find the link in a minute)

    Thank him here:
