Edwin's link (above), the download, and the installation went perfectly. A pleasant surprise is that my Windows 7 games kept their statistics!

I ran the installer by following the link in Dropbox but I can't find the games. And this from a guy who makes a living doing computer work. I'm running Win 10/64 bit. Thanks.

I doubt it, you'd have to run the installer(s)

They are available from a kind fellow forumeer.
(I'll find the link in a minute)

    Thank him here:

It worked for me--Edwin's Dropbox link in post #2. You're making sure you're downloading the right one--either the 64-bit or 32-bit, right? I wanted only spider solitaire and chess titans. Those are the games for which Windows 10 even saved my statistics.

I just installed Windows 10 yesterday and I'm not really familiar with it yet so it's probably an issue with my ignorance. Yes, I installed the 64 bit version and the installation appeared to be successful. But when I do a search for msgames nothing shows up. Thanks for your help. Jerry@Agourapc.com

I had these Win7 games installed on a Win8.1 Notebook and just a bit ago finished the Upgrade to Win10 Home. It kept the games and they work fine.

Interesting I find a folder there but the entire sub-folder for Spider Solitaire is 916 KB - no wonder the exe won't launch. None of the other games will launch either even though, for instance, Purble Place is 36.7 Mb.

FWIW, after upgrading to Win 10 today I downloaded the msi from post #2. Installation failed because Norton Security objected. No joy.

Curious what happens after you disable Norton. Or better yet, get rid of it. I've given up on the Windows 7 games for now. Back to playing Snood for mindless entertainment and time-wasting.

After disabling, installation proceeds but, for example, C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\SpiderSolitaire\en-US is empty!
