Might be a uPNP issue, is your router an ISP supplied one or have you bought your own?

Do you have any issues connecting to other computers on your network? (browsing network locations, streaming content etc...)

I honestly have no idea, I'll see if anybody else has got it to test on.

I got it to work. It streamed the game and I used my XBox One controller. You want to start with the basics and restart your PC. Then open the app and try again. If it shows up (mine shows up as Xbox-SystemOS) then from the app home windows choose connect. I think you may have to click on Add a device first. In the Windows 10 app on the left side, there are several icons. One looks like a console. It's the second from the bottom. That the Connect button

At what point is it failing?

Edit: My actual Xbox made me sign in to my MS account again Go all the way up to the upper left hand corner and click that tiny box that looks like a globe to check the notifications. Are you using your Microsoft account login for Windows 10?

    Power on Xbox
Make sure you are signed into your account
    Open Windows 10 Xbox app
On left side choose the console icon. If you hover over it, it says Connect.
Connect. It will display Connect to Your XBox One.
Once there, choose Connect in upper right corner.
