Oddly enough, for someone who finds war abhorrent, my favourite game is a military simulator (which even to me seems pretty bizarre). So:
Arma 2: Combined Operations
(Which is the original 'Arma 2' [based in Chernarus] and 'Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead' [based in Takistan] combined into one bundle).
Arma 3
(Based in Altis)

I don't think I can nail it down to just one game? A type, yes. I love my First Person Shooters, like Wolfenstein, Medal of Honor, Halo, Dishonored, etc.

That's a hard life, alpha. I'm only a FPS player. New games get pretty scarce sometimes. at least most of the ones I like.

I've played several of the Wolfenstein franchise. Most of the Medal of Honor. I'm playing each of the HALO games in sequence now, on my XBOX. Dishonored is cool, you can kill everything that moves or go stealth. It changes how the game unfolds. You can play that game a second time and its like a whole new game.
