    JIT debugging - Total War - Mod Manager

    Hello all, my first post here! I'll keep it simple, I got Rome Total War 2 and want to install a mod but whenever I start the manager is gives me an error message:

    Vallue cannot be null.
    Parameter name: path1.
    And if you expand the details in says:

    See the end of this message for details on invoking
    just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    I dont know what the problem is because before I did a total reset on my laptop it worked fine!

    Thank you.

    This error basically means that you need a standalone debugger software installed on your PC. Instead of your error message showing, your debugger will open instead (if you have one, and have assigned it according to the instructions). As for what else the issue might be, no idea, since I've only ever played the TW games without mods.

    Are you getting the exact same error message as the OP? If you are, the mod loader is missing a path to something. It either can't find the game, or the mod, or the mod manager. I'm not sure which.

    You could try adding the game and the mod manager to your PATH environment variable and see if that works...
