    Xbox One Game Streaming

Hello. Sorry if this is in the wrong topic. I have tried to post this thread on the Xbox Forums, but I have got no replies after 1 week. So, I was hoping I could get some help here. By using the Xbox App on Windows 10, you can stream games from your Xbox to your PC. If you choose the 'Very High' Game Streaming Quality option, you are (supposed) to get 1080 60fps game streaming to your PC. However, I am getting 720p if not lower. I have done my research, and have narrowed it down to my internet connection. I have a wired connection from my PC to my router, and from my router to my Xbox. My internet connection is stable and strong; I'm still getting smaller than 720p. Help me please! Thanks in advance.

I'm taking a guess here as I don't know the technical specs of the streaming app, but I would assume unless a game is 1080p and 60fps, streaming is not going to automatically convert a 900p/30fps game to 1080p/60fps...I know up converting pixels is possible, but increasing framerate is not as the xbox can only process what was made for it. The one game I know of that is 1080p/60fps is Forza 5/6 if you have either of those you could test with. Others mostly are 900p/1080p and 30fps.

I'm also guessing your monitor/display is showing you the 720p? Can you confirm its capable of 1080p or check it's actual settings to see if the changing resolution is possible?
