On second thought, this COULD work if the PS4 could boot into Legacy Mode. This doesn't work for UEFI boot, so probably won't work for PS4. But hope dies last.
Let it go. Do you remember what happened to the ps3 when people got programs running on Linux to rip games and Blu-rays? Yep released update and removed the parts of the os we needed for Linux to run. If it did work Sony would immediately release a patch to remove the ability. Yes it would be cool but won't happen.

I would install Windows 10 in UEFI mode in a modern computer. Then generalize the installation (so it can boot in another hardware) or delete the Windows partition (but let the other partitions as they are). Then use the above method with gimagex to partially install Windows 10 to the empty partition. This in theory will create a GPT formatted hard disk with an UEFI compatible Windows 10 installation that can boot at any modern UEFI compatible machine, including (hopefully) the PS4 and resume installation of Windows 10 as if we had started it there! Once you see Windows desktop it is trivial to find drivers for the hardware! That's what I would try first.

Wouldn't it be better to dream about running PS2/3/4 or Xbox games on a desktop computer ? Natively, not thru SW emulator.

PS1 and PS2 games is currently possible. PS3 games are still experimental, PS4 games not yet, we need a very very fast computer to play at reasonable speed. That's why I prefer computers over consoles. With a computer you can do (almost) everything.

Yes, use EPSXE or others for PS1 games. It can even play at reasonable speed on an old Pentium M notebook with 1GB RAM running Windows 7 32-bit! For PS2 games there is PCSX2 with requires at least a modern computer (I3 or better recommended) to play some games at reasonable speed. Compatibility with PS1 is very high, with PS2 not sure, but pretty good. PS3 is still developing, do not expect much and requires an even faster computer.

    Linux

Reverse your thinking. With the similarities between the PS4 and a PC, I'm sure we could (for research purposes ONLY, ) emulate a PS4 on a modern gamer-grade PC.

I'm not even going to dip my little toe in that sea of litigation, though.
Ive heard it can run Linux. How can that be if nothing can get past the BIOS without Sonys signature code?

It might run Linux, but this is not very helpful for a gamer. Most of the games require Windows, not Linux! Even Steam games are debatable if they run well on Linux.
