Computer shuts down whilst playing Solitaire

    Hello

I loved playing Solitaire in Win 7 but having an unusual problem playing the Solitaire app in Win 10.
After about 15 minutes, the computer just shuts down. No warning, no error messages, no BSOD, nothing.
I can guarantee you it is not just a coincidence. My computer could be running for days without any problem but as soon as I start playing Solitaire this happens.

I would really appreciate some advice. My computer is an Acer Laptop with i3 CPU, 8GB RAM and Intel HD graphics and using a 24" Acer monitor.

    Many Thanks..

Make sure all of your graphics drivers are up to date. It may be that this game works the system too hard. Try monitoring your system temperatures a while and see if we can at least rule that out.

    Hi
    Thanks for your reply.
The graphics drivers are up to date. Well they are 3 years old but all update programmes are telling me they are up to date !! Even the Intel Update Software. I am confident overheating is not a problem as my hard drive is an SSD and the laptop sits on a cooler with 5 fans !! This has really flummaxed me. I played Soliatire all the time in Windows 7 without any problems and now this with Win 10.

    Regards..
