Yeah, might not work. I set shadowplay to 80 mbps to see if it helps. Still uploading, youtube is slow today

I was wondering the same thing. I think GFE max recording is 1080p. I'm not sure how it will work recording at 1080 and encoding at 1440. It should be 1440, but I wonder if the detail would be the same as if you could record in 1440. Seeing as how I am not affluent enough to own a 1440 monitor, I wouldn't be able to test it.

It will record 1440p, but I think it might drop the bitrate

I made a 1440 recording, and did not encode with handbrake to see how it does. Just under 3 minutes and 1.61GB and youtube is slow with uploads today. Its 90% uploaded now

Yes, good move. That at least takes handbrake out of the equation for now.

Na, it still doesn't look nearly as good as in game. Look at the youtube reviews of GRW, like this one. Check the ground texture like at .34 where he is riding the motorcycle in the rain. That's closer to in game graphic quality. Wonder what they are doing when recording.

Here's shadow play at 1080P which reduces the MBPS to a max of 50. Also used handbrake. Don't think the video quality is better than my previous videos. In game, that water while driving the boat looks spectacular.
