I was just going to reinstall COD4 and revisit it with new HW but I found out I have lost registration for it. Now I have to dig thru my old backups and see if I can find it. Wonder if it's free by now ?
You probably looked it up at IsThereAnyDeal.com

That's incredible video and game play, as usual, dude. That I7 7700K is oced to 4.9 and your CPU temps are now mid 50's max. I will consider you the expert on applying thermal paste. You have video evidence to back it up. :)

I assume you are using shadow play to record that video. Your OSD even full screen is clear. I tried yellow and white and the video is just as blurry as green. Something else is going on other than color. As the OSD numbers shift for different readings the video seems to show a shadow of the old readings overlapping with the new ones.

Only thing I can think of, difference between you and me , is you recording with a 60HZ monitor. I'll try recording at 60HZ. I see you also lock in the OSD position (middle) with the RTSS axis while mine is set at the right corner. Don't know if fixing it with the axis makes a difference.

That's an amazing video, essenbe. Thank you so much. Good GPU clocks, great FPS and incredibly low GPU temps. How do you have the FTW fans set with AB? Are those 58C temps achieved with two fans at default speeds or is XOC running?

Your gameplay is excellent. GRW is not forgiving game play wise. One event happens like that prisoner shot by the bad guys and you start the mission all over again.

Could you please run the in game benchmark for me and post pics. Your documents folder will give you all the benchmark detail like below. My min FPS is 53.4, max CPU usage 80.3 %, and for the benchmark they are claiming 3.6 GB of RAM. The RAM number is not indicative of game play as in game I often see it at well over 8GB, up to 8.2 at times. The stats from the benchmark also show the in game graphic settings. Assuming yours are the same I think that FTW 3 1080TI is probably the advertised +30% faster than my FTW 1080.

I'm sure my settings are not the same as yours. Mine are custom and set by GFE at half quality and half performance. I didn't see a whole lot of quality difference. Here's the bench.

Thank you. Ya mine are GFE quality so draw distance, level of detail, texture quality, etc are higher so that makes an FPS difference. Still, your min FPS is 89 and mine is 53. That's 70% higher/faster. I'm guessing with the same detail you would still be well over 30% faster. Impressive!

Yeah, the reapplying of thermal grease worked wonders. Yes it was shadowplay, maybe the position does make a difference

And that I7 7700K beats the s%$t out of the 7800X, at least where it counts, gaming.

Ya I'll try a couple of things. I'm running out of ideas with the blurry OSD when recording. Essenbe's orange also looked pretty good.

So your min is 65 with graphics maxed out and mine 53 so 12 FPS higher or 23% faster. GRW is extremely demanding at those settings, both GPU and CPU. It's "close to" the advertised 30% faster and I 'm always looking at min FPS not average. Still impressive.

    Thank you for that.
