Tks, essenbe. Yes nice game (Doom) and Pascal handles that Vulcan API just fine. Wonder if future Vulcan games will run this well. Not sure if it's the API or game dev ID software/Bethesda making that performance happen.

Yes Clive, it's a joke or satire, not really an Nvidia engineer. It's taking a shot at some of the shortcomings of mainly Nvidia pre- Pascal (ie Maxwell) GPU's/technology.

Well after seeing Doom Vulcan, we can't leave Microsoft Studios out of this with DX 12 and GOW 4. Usually I cap FPS at 120 but let it go for this video. Again excuse game play as I was looking at full OSD in a UWP game - nice. Amazing, smooth performance with GOW 4. No complaints. What did I see - up to about 212 FPS.

Look how some of these GRW missions work. You have to find the bad guy (not capture, kill nor be detected) and then follow him to his brother and interrogate the brother. Pretty cool.
