Damn that CPU runs hot! Hottest ive had my 6600k running is 50 and thats with it clocked to 4.3ghz in game. Strange
Not sure it's "strange", Devlin, might just be the tech behind the i7 7700K. Where's Blackrose? He has the i7 7700K. What in game temps are you hitting? No, I mean a real game that stresses your system, not those funny games (pics) you've been posting lately.

GRW, look, essenbe. The bad guys don't only have great parties and likely don't pay much taxes, they also seem to have the "hot wives". Had to capture Gabriela for interrogation. I think my team mate was thinking I'd be no good at this so she did the interrogation.

Thanks, essenbe, but I hope with my videos you guys are looking at game graphics and hardware performance, not my game play.

Notice that only at 1080P, but Ultra settings, the game is using almost 8 GB of system ram and more than 5GB of vram. Yikes! It runs well though. Will have to check Worf's usage numbers when he posted GRW video at 1440p.

Speaking of dude's cardboard slide, and part of the reason I like seeing OSD game video, did you notice his I7 7700k yet again hitting temps as high as 93C in that video? He doesn't oc for gaming, nor do I, I have xmp enabled and Mtl has feels like temps of 32C these days, which I figure must match Texas. My i7 6700K was hitting low 50'sC in GRW.

I know the i7 7700K is fast but those temps are way higher than the advertised 8C or so more than the i7 6700K, at least in these game videos. And I don't think there is anything "wrong" with dude's system cooling. Seems to me the technology of the I7 7700K is to operate like a microwave.

I was OCd to 4.8 and it I had some video processing in the background. It still gets warm, usually 70s with spikes to 80 when gaming now that summer is here. Ambient room temp was 80ish F. She is a microwave for sure

Yep, I figured if it's going to run hot anyway, might as well give it a reason to

A bit of GRW with an OSD displayed on an FTW 1080, thanks to Afterburner.

Blackrose; check out those curving, bumpy roads.

Dangit man, I was wanting to find out what the dude on the radio won. lol

Some great FPS there. How high do you have your settings?

My in game temps for Ark and Conan Exiles, which are both really hard on the CPU, are generally in the upper 60s to mid 70s, but I've got a very aggressive curve set and usually have my AC running. With the temps the way they have been out here the past few days, I wouldn't be surprised if it hit low 90s with stock curve.

I'm thinking you're checking out the roads being a GTA V fan, and you're listening to the guy on the radio.

Ya, those FPS are in the 70's - 80's. Wasn't seeing that until the last two Nvidia drivers. FPS will however occasionally drop to mid 50's. Graphic settings are pretty much maxed (below) and set with GFE recommendations.

Well upper 60's to mid 70's isn't too bad for the CPU. Ya, AC is a good idea. Thanks, man.

Hahaha, I was checking out the roads too.

That's a pretty good framerate for those settings. I'm thinking I may be able to pick the game up this month. Depends on how quickly I knock out Zelda.
