Benchmark of Tom Clancy's Ghost ReconŽ Wildlands Ultra settings coming very soon. Would have show some game play but really in to SGW3 and not to interested in Tom Clancy's Ghost ReconŽ Wildlands.

Not to impressed with frames but I will reserve judgement until you guys have your input.
Worf; this game is an Nvidia Game Works title. Nvidia's hand in it was to show the power of the 1080TI. In doing so, they also made sure that at 1440P Ultra settings, only the 1080Ti and Titan XP could handle it with playable framerates. Check these comments from the Tech Power Up review. So given that, Nessie is performing just fine at 1440P Ultra.

"With the Ultra preset chosen, the game demands the best graphics hardware, even to play at a fluid 1080p HD. Only the GTX 1080, Titan X Pascal, and GTX 1080 Ti are able to achieve 60 FPS. When you go to 1440p, the GTX 1080 drops below 50 FPS, leaving only the Titan X Pascal and 1080 Ti with playable framerates"

Sniper ghost warrior 3 Act 2: Awas' Family Part 1.

Stopped recording at the end of the video of Awas' Family and forgot to restart recording
Great video, Worf and that Zotac is pushing through significant FPS. Ya, I like the day time better and the video quality is excellent. I remember that scene. Attempted a "shortcut" to the ruins and fell off the mountain!

Essenbe; at stock, what clock and temps is that FTW 3 getting in SGW3? Is the clock steady or moving up and down?

@specialkone, with the FTW3, Afterburner will only control 1 fan. The other 2, I am assuming are running at a straight 30%, or it seems. So temps get a little higher using AB. XOC has no video capture that I am aware of. So, with using AB, clocks are fairly steady at complete stock at 1962-1949, FPS stay at 130-135, the highest temp I saw was 59°C. The strange thing I saw was if you monitor voltage and power limits, even at stock it shows voltage limited. But, that's an Nvidia thing.

Using XOC, I ran superposition today Overclocked and the highest temp was 62°C. With this cooling on the card, I find it hard to believe that high temps will ever be a problem. Those temps were not bad considering I am in a room that is probably in the 28°C range.

Thanks essenbe. Man, the temps on the AIB 1080TI's are impressive, high 50's, low 60's. With my ACX (dual fan) FTW 1080, my fan curve is set to 50% when temp 50C, then I have it set to 70%/60C, 80%/70C. After long periods of gaming most I typically see is low 70's C but it certainly doesn't stay in the low 60 C range, most often high 60's.

Those stock clocks are pretty good as well and you were hitting 203X with an OC in benching. As JayZ mentioned, there aren't really winners anymore with the TI's. The worry is whether one is a silicon lottery loser. I've seen a number of TI owners report with an OC they are crashing in the high 1900's.

Yes, we are waiting to see your superposition and firestrike numbers.:)

    Here it is:

OK done some more benchmarking with Tom Clancy's Ghost ReconŽ Wildlands at all the different preset levels (Ultra, Very High, High, Medium & Low).

Nessie (Zotac GTX 1080 Ti Amp Extreme) was overclocked by: +75 on the Core, +585 on the Memory, Power set too 120%, Temp limit set too 90 Degrees and 60% fan speed.Resulting with a Core speed of 2088 MHz, VRAM of 6180 MHz and Core Temp of 50 Degrees.

    Any and all comments welcome

Yes, SLI was what I was referring to. You know, if I was Blackrose I would wait and see what Skylake X and Kaby Lake X is all about before buying anything. I realize they are Intel, but they still have to contend with a decent $500 8 core CPU. We could get surprised.
I did consider that, especially after the leak from videocardz. I should still be within my return window on this 7700K when the -X chips drop. If they do end up being surprisingly affordable, I may send it back and grab a Kaby Lake-X chip.
