What Games are you playing right now?

I enabled Game Mode last night for GTA V and it seems to have fixed the issue I had where I'd have to set the game's priority to high or else I'd get massive stuttering a 1 second pauses while driving. If that's the only benefit I get from it, it's good enough for me.

Blackrose; do you have to enable an Xbox game bar or something like that to get game mode to work or is it purely a Windows 10 setting without having to run or enable anything else, if you know what I mean.

Yeah, you have to turn on Game Mode in the settings, then open up the game bar when the game is running, click on settings on the game bar and then select the checkbox next to "Use Game Mode with this game". One of the big drawbacks to Game Mode right now is that it only works with full screen games that Microsoft has certified, so a lot of games you'll either have to run windowed or not use Game Mode with.

I wonder how many PC only gamers are going to like the idea of having to open up a game bar and have that running while gaming. I always game full screen. Do you know if there is a list somewhere of these games that Microsoft has certified and work with game mode?

What individual with an EVGA FTW 3 1080TI on the way wouldn't be investing in a few new games?

As to your choice, look what I did after my second attempt at Fallout 4.

I have my mouse running at 1500 DPI. With a hold on a side button while sniper aiming I can drop it to 400 DPI. Good for any old guy shaky hands.

I wasn't getting much use for the sniper button in FO4. Still haven't found bullets. I should be trying harder.

So when we are playing Sniper Ghost Warrior 3 I guess we will have the Windows 10 Creators Update and Game Mode. Not sure our specific gaming hardware needs the help or will benefit, but I guess something that reduces background activity and presents a platform for more consistent performance can only be a good thing for gamers.
Count me in, I pre-ordered it too

Fired up Fallout 4. I sent the dog in to attack one of the raiders. Then I got a switch blade and a few bullets and dealt with a half dozen other raiders. Now I'm talking to these dudes.

A couple of the guys popped over earlier, looked at the above OSD, GPU temp, usage and framerates. Shook their heads and said let's go out for a beer.

I don't think I'll need the Creators Update game mode for help with this game.

Yes I know - good game, very popular. It's actually starting to get a bit interesting. Don't know about those high res textures though. They are installed but I don't find the graphics anywhere close to BF1, Doom, ROTTR, Witcher 3, WD2, etc.

Yeah, the graphics aren't the greatest, but the story is pretty interesting once you get further in. I'll get around to finishing it one of these days...probably.

I just picked up BF1 for the PC. Been playing it on xbox one since it came out, but a couple of guys at work are playing the PC version, so I bought it and downloaded it last night. Experimented with graphics settings tonight and played about 2 hours.

It's amazing how much better it looks on the PC.
