Nicely done, dude.
I'm not really into these kind of games, but have you guys seen this trailer on Final Fantasy 15, which comes out in 2018 and has a PC version?
So Nvidia is throwing everything but the kitchen sink at this game. There's 4K textures, turf effects, hair works, Nvidia Flow (the fire), HFTS shadows, VXAO Ambient Occlusion and of course Ansel. Then it says "Game Ready Gefore 10 Series". Really?
Have to say it looks spectacular based on that video. Have to wonder what hardware will run it at those "ultimate quality settings". My Time Spy stock run below (I game at stock) is about 2,300 points higher than the 4K playable mark.
Do I believe that? When I run firestrike ultra (is your PC 4K ready/) I see FPS at a crawl sometimes down to 20's. I know it's "DSR" 4k but still slow as molasses. What a benchmark this game would be. Maybe Blackrose's system (assuming the game will be SLI ready) could run it at Ultimate graphics. Makes me wonder, however, if Nvidia is getting "games ready" for Volta.
Rumored recommended specs for Final Fantasy XV:
OS: Windows 10 64-bit
CPU: Intel Core i7-3770 3.4 GHz or AMD Ryzen 7 1700 3.7 GHz
RAM: 16 GB System Memory
GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 Ti
HDD: 170GB
DX: DirectX 11
That's pretty insane, if true.
Think its a new trend to be honest, Project cars 2 Recommended specs are very similar, Believe the recommended card is either GTX1080 or the Ti Variant. Steep
You know what HFTS shadows do to FPS based on WD2. Do you think even a single 1080 TI could run all this at 4K with decent minimum FPS? I think the low numbers would be dropping to the 20's.
And we were complaining about the download size of GOW4. GOW4 is "light" compared to this 170GB. Yes, 4K textures. Also looks like Nvidia (this game and PC2) wants to keep us gamers in the DX11 world. Seems these days it would take an AMD sponsored game (are there any?) or a Microsoft Studios release to give us DX 12.
Yes, Devlin PC2 recommended specs are a GTX 1080 and I7 6700K. Upgrading your GTX 660 2GB soon, you say? Good move.

Looking good, seek.
So we have F1 2017 coming out tomorrow and then Project Cars 2 on September 22. I'm growing way too old waiting for a decent Nascar sim.
