70C tends to be around the average for my top GPU while gaming, although some games like Ark and GTA will push the temps more towards 74-76C. Overall, I've been pretty pleasantly surprised by the temps, considering my cards are Founders Editions.
Thanks Blackrose. I tried to give you a mention for all this but even though I gave one to CountMike the other day I'm being blocked from giving you one as it seems I am required to spread them around more, even though I think it's been awhile since I gave you one

No, your temps look fine. You have one GPU on top of another, your fan curve is less aggressive than mine, you have "founders edition cooling" and you're running 8C less than me.

My EVGA FTW 1080 is spoiled. It's hardly ever OCed and never in game. All kinds of space to breathe in this Corsair 750D and I know the airflow is good. Also, did cleaning case and GPU with no difference.

Running an OSD in game at all times I have the historical performance of this GPU implanted in my brain. I never used to see more than 72C in any game. The other day it hit 80C in ROTTR, but I'm also starting to see temps climbs in WD2, GRW, etc. This is dropping my in game stock clocks by 60MHZ.

My first FTW 1080 was rmaed for artifacts. This one is EVGA thermal modded. The RMA process (shipping, exchange) cost me $132CDN. The GPU is less than two years old and now hitting in game temps of 80C. That's below specs but of course with Pascal drops performance. Of course it's the EOL ACX cooling, but on the other hand I would never lock myself into ICX cooling with required XOC fan control because of EVGA's terrible XOC OSD, which I doubt will improve any time soon. Oh well.

BTW, with August approaching going to get myself outside more and enjoy what's left of Montreal's summer. So won't be around much. Happy gaming everyone.:)

Ah, no never liked the taste of fresh water fish. Being a citizen of one of the best country's in the world to live in:

"This may sound like a broken record but Canada has been named the second best country in the world yet again.
For a second year in a row, the Great White North was ranked second in the annual “Best Countries” survey from the U.S. News & World Report, in conjunction with Young & Rubicam BAV Consulting and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.

Switzerland edged out Canada for the number one ranking, scoring a perfect 10 while Canada took in 9.7 in overall scoring.
The survey evaluated 80 countries in a variety of categories including economic influence, citizenship and quality of life."
Canada named 2nd best country in the world…again, report finds - National | Globalnews.ca

thought I would celebrate Canada's 150 and head to Quebec City (been awhile) with a few close friends:

Has anyone ever tried the SnakeBite Mod to change MGSVTPP to a first-person shooter?

I've been playing Elder Scrolls Online (although less so because of my HDDs and cpu having popin issues)
and a randomized version of Pokemon Platinum on the Desmume emu.

ROTTR with the Asus Strix 1080TI. Same game, same game settings, same driver and I'm running 15C cooler than I was with the FTW 1080. Looks like I'm now in your temp ballpark, Blackrose. Played an hour and the max temp I saw was that 67C.

The Strix is a tri-fan setup, isn't it?

Glad you got your temps down. Enjoy ROTTR. It's a great game.
