What Games are you playing right now?

So I don't have any unplayed games left.. Decided to fire up ROTTR again. When I was having my blurry OSD recording issues (just the recording was blurry) I was using shadow play and handbrake.

Look at these two videos recorded with Microsoft's game mode features. The first video has the OSD with that "troublesome" green. It's fine with the game mode recording. The second video is recorded with the OSD in white which was giving me trouble with shadow play as well. It's very clear with game mode even in full screen - take a look. Plus, game mode recording seems to compress the file size itself. 5 minutes+ of recording was 390 megs. Way to go Microsoft.

One thing I have always noticed with ROTTR DX12 is my GPU temps are higher on this game than any other. In the videos you see I hit up to 78C which is about 3 degrees higher than any other game. Wonder if it's Nvidia pushing ROTTR performance on this title in their profile, as it was one of the first major DX 12 releases.

Blackrose, you have Pascal and ROTTR. Any chance of a ROTTR video showing your GPU clocks and temps?

Made me a recording of some game play in COD4 last night. Used Fraps but didn't set it up good so it's a bit jerky and OSD wasn't recorded. It came out in AVI to 45.3 GB so I whittled it down to 797MB using Handnbrake in MP4. Now what ?, how to show it here, by Youtube ?

Assuming you have a gmail account, there are a number of choices. If you don't want to create a you tube channel, you can up load the video to google photos and post a shared link to that video.

If you want to post the video via you tube, you have to sign into you tube and create a channel. You might already be able to sign into you tube based on your gmail or google+ account. You can go to you tube, try to sign in and see what happens. Once you're signed in it's pretty easy. Just upload the video (choose public or unlisted) and post the link they give you. Instructions here - the link has 11 steps.

Pushing out some significant FPS in Project Cars, practicing at Monza. Seek - sorry for the poor driving. Been awhile and couldn't remember the track layout. This old MOMO Force wheel is still working fine.

And what has stopped you is.......? For a competitive guy/gamer nothing better than a racing sim. Qualifying times, hot laps, racing the AI or in leagues, season championships, racing sims are never ending.

As seek well knows one of the best is Project Cars (driving any car on any track) or typical racing. As he mentioned, PC2 coming out in September. Also good is the F1 series. I have F1 2014. Latest version (2017) comes out August 25 and has 12 classic cars.

Long ago I belonged to a Papyrus Nascar 2003 league. Lots of fun. I have grown old waiting for another good Nascar PC sim. Hasn't happened IMHO.

Thanks seek. Wasn't even close to remembering my shifting/braking points. Of course, wasn't driving a typical F1 car. Was driving this. Sweet but a little loose in the corners, at least for me. Yea, PC2 coming.
